Project Manager Human Resources Information System


The HRIS Project Manager is responsible for the global implementation of SAP Successfactors (HRIS), in line with budget, time and quality requirements.

  1. Deploy a structured project management methodology (incl. processes and tools) to ensure a smooth implementation of the new global HRIS as a key enabler of the HR Transformation program at BIG.
  2. Work closely with the external implementation partner to define and execute a project implementation roadmap for the HRIS-project (2 years).
  3. Work with the HR Transformation Manager, the respective Group HR Directors and the different HR managers across the globe to define the specific functional system requirements and system configuration and develop a Global Template aligned with the HR strategic plan.
  4. Coordinate and support the global implementation of SAP Successfactors across the globe and ensure alignment with the Global Template on the respective modules and functionalities.
  5. Coordinate functional and technical resources across BIG, obtain and provide information, data decisions and approvals. Continuously assess and manage project risks, help resolve project issues and escalate if needed within BIG. Review and approve all implementation partner plans, documentation and deliverables.
  6. Ensure post go-live governance model is in place.
  7. Follow up and monitor the system usage in the different countries.

Ensure project meets objectives on time, within budget, according to quality requirements and without business disruption.


Competence profile :

  • Proven project management skills (essential)
  • Confident to challenge and coach senior management (essential)
  • Strong influencing, communication and presentation skills (essential)
  • Business knowledge and strategic thinking capability (essential)

Training & experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant role
  • Experience with international, large-scale project management
  • Certification in a project management methodology is a plus

Technical knowledge:

  • Deep knowledge of project management methodologies, approaches and tools
  • Expertise in project planning and risk management
  • Working knowledge of process management and process improvement
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong interest in technology and HR
